Advanced additional Course -
This course is aimed at those wishing to take things one step further from the previous two course. It is still suitable for homeowners as well as professionally trained designers that are new to the industry and want to advance past their college tuition.

I have 1) graduated from college (animation) with plan and 3d rendering included, 2) belonged to the local Royal Botanical Gardens and taken seminars on various subjects, 3) been to night-school for basic horticulture and MS Excel (spreadsheets), 4) worked nights and weekends for the last 15 years as a gardener for a half-dozen clients, 5) had to stop due to severe arthritis, 6) have been ‘down-sized’ from my day job. I am looking for something that would add a more professional air to my CV than the one-off and part-time learning I can list now. I am available on LinkedIn and Facebook, and would deeply appreciate any advice there as well.

I will send you details as soon as the course becomes available. Unfortunately due to a really heavy workload, I suspect that it will be 2011 before the advanced course is ready.
If this is something you want to do professionally then you might want to take a look at the Oxford Garden Design School. Duncan Heather the principle was on the same Teacher Training course I was for interactive online courses. So although I’ve not done his course, I’m sure it will be excellent having gone through the same training I have.
It’s considerably dearer than any course I run but that is because there is a usable qualification at the end of it whereas I cater more for homeowners and landscapers who want to learn how to design. His course can be viewed here: http://www.garden-design-courses.co.uk/
