Intermediate Level Garden Design Course

Intermediate Level Course -

This is a great course for those really wishing to learn all the tips and tricks the professionals use! And learn all the tricks they don’t teach you at college! It’s the course I am most excited about because I will be online with you to answer any questions you may have in person. It’s an excellent progression from the beginner’s course. It is still suitable for homeowners as well as professionally trained designers that are new to the industry and want to advance past their college tuition the fast track way. The course is written in plain English, not confusing academic terminology.

  • You will learn how to make a garden look longer and wider using some very neat visual tricks
  • You will learn how to tackle a garden with changes in level from small to enormous slopes!
  • You will learn about different styles of garden from eco/natural to contemporary to traditional /formal styles and many more in between
  • Learn how to successfully design awkward shape gardens
  • How to design front gardens
  • Learn how to design small to really large gardens
  • How to successfully design using free form curves

Hi. Really interested in the Intermediate design course, is it an on-line course or do you run your courses from you busuness address? I’ve completed a course at Otley College but really want to take it further. I’m working as a general gardener at the moment to gain experience with planting etc. I have qualifications in art and design but only came to gardening relatively recently.

    Hi Sarah

All the home study courses I run are online. I’ve recently put together a course that amalgamates the beginner and intermediate levels as I think that works better because I teach in a practical hands on way with a specific design formula that I’ve developed over the years that speeds up the design process – so it’s easier to tie it in if I teach the whole formula and then show people how to take it to the next level.

If you sign up to the newsletter, you’ll be one of the first to know when the new courses are available. Just pop your email address in the box at the top right.

    Best wishes

    Rachel
