I struggle to learn from traditional teaching methods. The only way I can learn anything is to totally understand exactly HOW it works. The Beginner’s level is for people that just want to know how to design their garden. You’ll learn the VITAL basic principles of garden design and how to apply them. If you have a new garden and you want to create a simple and effective design or if you just want to do a makeover to your existing garden, without spending a fortune, then this is the course for you.

But what if you are not a creative person? We all are to a greater or lesser degree but that aside, garden design is as much practical as it is artistic. I will show you different methods of designing to suit your creative levels, as well as showing you how to become more creative.
What happens if you still can’t do it? If you find yourself getting stuck, then the section on design tips and tricks will help. I’ve been stuck on designs and over the years I’ve come up with some cunning solutions, that are guaranteed to get you where you need to be.
Can’t visualize things well? Again, this isn’t a problem! Visualization isn’t as necessary as you may think. I will show you ways to get around that and even turn it to your advantage!
If you just want a nice garden but not something ‘too designery’ don’t worry, I’ll teach you how to do it to a level that suits your needs.
