Place the compost pellets in a suitable mixing container and add 300ml of lukewarm water. Allow to stand and expand for 30-60 minutes, drain off any excess water and mix compost well. You may have more compost than you require and more water could be required if the compost mix is looking dry; How to plant: Fill 75% of the planter with the compost and moisten. Scatter a sparse layer of seeds (half rosemary & half thyme), cover with a very thin layer of compost and gently moisten. Save any surplus seeds and compost to re-seed the planter in the future. Move to a warm well lit area; a windowsill is ideal but full sunshine will dry out the compost rapidly. The compost must be kept moist at all times, never being allowed to dry out. After a few weeks harvest with scissors as required. Re-seed when appropriate by removing the old plants and top layer of compost and following the instructions as above.
