In this small garden ideas part 2 video we’re going to look at how you can successfully landscape really tiny gardens. I’ll also reveal the answer to the last week’s challenge question. In the small garden ideas part 1 video blog, I asked you what was so important about the planting of the Moroccan styled courtyard garden at Casa Aire de Lecrin.
This week’s questions:
In the first segment of the video, where we look at the collection of geraniums in pots on the stairs, I mention how important the structures, the pots and the ornaments are, but there was something I forgot to say – another reason that made the plants look good together – what is is?
The second question is embedded in the video – on the balcony garden, other than the colour, what is it that makes this look so good? Leave your answer in the comments below – not trick questions this week, so much easier, judging by the excellent answers you left last week!
If you’d like to visit the beautiful guest house that’s featured in the video, please visit: https://www.casa-aire-de-lecrin.com
In this video, you will learn:
- How even the tiniest spaces can be made to look larger.
- How vertical elements can make a space look larger.
- How the correct use of features can make a garden look more interesting.
- How you can create impact by using a limited colour palette.
- How you can have wall pots, without messy walls!
I hope you’ll see by the end of the video how any space, no matter how small, can be completely transformed by doing very little. Great gardens do not have to cost a fortune and size really shouldn’t be a limitation!
Many thanks to Lesley O’Brien for her photos of the patio gardens in Córdoba.
